Translucens

São Paulo, Brazil, 2009

Crystals are highly organized structures and it is originated in Earth's solid bedrock.

Liquids have their molecules moving in a free way and solids resist changes in size and shape over the time. Light is an electromagnetic radiation able to cross translucent materials, permitting the eyes to see through and with them.

The photographic research over the quality of translucent elements like stones, crystals, glasses and liquids reveals the effect of light through their materiality. Shapes and colors are randomly brought together, creating images which converge to the abstract.

Materials: Transparency and light box.
